Elemental and phase composition of electric arc coating formed with a flux-cored wire of Fe – C – Si – Mn – Сr – Ni – Mo system

The authors have studied the elemental and phase compositions of electric arc coating with a flux-cored wire Fe – C Si Mn Cr Ni Mo system. Formation was carried out using ASAW-1250 welding tractor fabricated on plates made 09G2S steel. Aluminum production gas cleaning dust has been introduced into composition flux cored (instead amorphous carbon). Chemical deposited metal determined by X-ray fluorescence method XRF-1800 spectrometer atomic emission DFS-71 spectrometer. Microstructure coatings OLYMPUSGX-51 optical microscope. Analysis performed scanning electron microscopy LEO EVO 50 instrument. Segregation tungsten molybdenum revealed in coating. Concentration changes more than 3 times, 2 times. Fractures samples are formed as result ductile fracture material. There surface layers fractures, thickness which is chemical layer under consideration characterized relatively small diameter pits compared to volume. Their ranges from tenths tens micrometers. largest particles second micron sizes (2 µm). Contamination non­metallic inclusions studied. It established that system does not significantly affect level contamination non-metallic coatings. Parameter crystal lattice values areas coherent scattering CrC phases hardfacing were analysis.
